6 Steps to Live More Fully Today

Isn’t life terrific? We have so many choices from inside to outside. You don’t have to delay to get more education or more money – just make the choice to walk through the door. Here are a few possibilities for you to choose from today.

1. Focus on the Now
Your brain, body and whole self wants to focus on the present. That is where you make the most difference. You can’t change yesterday. You can’t control tomorrow. Let go of that noise and be present and aware of this moment in your life and live it fully.

2. Be Grateful
Constantly find things in your life to be grateful for. Gratitude changes your mood to the positive and correlates with happiness. Do this while walking in nature and get in touch with your spiritual self. Do this when you awake in the morning and before you go to sleep. Do this when you find yourself overwhelmed with negative thoughts.

3. Take 10 minutes out of every hour of work to get in touch with your body.
Stretch your body. Hydrate your body. Rock in place and clap. Taking care of your body in this way energizes you. This is what I recommend in my high performers coaching. This resets your body and mind and allows you to be creative again.

4. Call someone you love
Inspire them. What do they need you to say that will encourage them or inspire them to do what they are trying to do. Focus outside of yourself and give to someone else. Can you surprise them with a note that follows up. You will feel more energized!

5. Be someone who Let’s Go
Be willing to let go of the negative that happens in your life. Really! Let it slip by like teflon. Don’t perseverate on that comment! Leave room for the positive.

6. Live like you only have One Life
Live large. Embellish. Enjoy the glitz. Live with style. Make great memories with those you love.

Put this note on the dashboard of your car or your refrigerator. Choose one or two things to work on at a time. Program your phone alarm to remind you every day. Journal about how you feel when you do this and how you are different in the world and what that means to you and what negativity gets squeezed out when you do these growth instigating activities. Go forth and Be Wonderful!
